WHO WE ARE

In His Presence Fellowship (IHP) is a non-denominational ministry located in Deer Park. IHP is a congregation of individuals who have come together from a variety of religious, cultural and family experiences. We have joined our hearts because we have sensed a continual need for God’s personal direction in our daily living. We believe we need each other for effective spiritual growth and maturity in our Christian walk.

WHAT IS OUR PURPOSE

The purpose of In His Presence Fellowship is to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and bring glory to His name. We are endeavoring to reveal Christ to one another and to share the gospel at home and in our community. We provide opportunity for spiritual growth through worship, fellowship, discipleship and instruction in God’s Word.

We desire to reach out to the local churches and ministries in the Deer Park area and join together in fellowship to fulfill the great commission given by our Lord in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

WHAT WE BELIEVE
  • That the Bible is unparalleled in its divine inspiration, and in its complete accuracy and authority as God’s revealed source of faith and truth, to us.
  • In One God, beside Whom there is no other, Whose nature and activity is supremely revealed to us through His expressions of Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit.
  • Man is a created being, made in the image of God. Through his rebellion, the nature of man became corrupted and sinful.
  • That man’s ultimate and most urgent need is a Holy Spirit inspired awareness of his condition before God and his need for a new life through Christ.
  • That Jesus Christ is God’s unique revelation of Himself to us in human form, and His chosen pathway for our salvation, by virtue of his birth, life, death, resurrection and present intercession for us.
  • That the Way to Salvation is through confession and forgiveness of sins and personal acceptance by faith of Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord to be followed by baptism.
  • That our lives should reflect the new nature of Jesus Christ as Ephesians 4:24 says, “… that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”
